TRANSMISSION LUBRICATION AND COOLING SYSTEMS

1. Transmission Oil Filter

. Located on right side, just above the boom hoist cylinder on the engine bulkhead. Filter removes

particles in the oil which could damage internal components of the transmission. A pump inside the transmission produces

oil flow through the filter, transmission, and oil cooler.

2. Transmission Oil Cooler

. The cooler is located in the bottom of the radiator. Coolant from the radiator is circulated

across the cooler to lower the transmission oil temperature.
